1800 Respect
1-800-respect is a phone and online counselling service available to people living in Australia. A qualified professional is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week and provide crisis and trauma counselling to people experiencing the effects of sexual assault, domestic or family violence.
Eastern Family Violence Partnership
Eastern Metropolitan Region- Regional Family Violence Partnership (EMR RFVP) is a group of organisations committed to addressing the issue of family violence. It provides a coordinated response to victim survivors of family violence.

AMAZE
AMAZE (previously known as Autism Victoria) is the peak body for individuals with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. It provides information and resource to individuals, families, professionals, government and the wider community.
Aspergers
Asperger’s Victoria, previously known as Asperger Syndrome Support Network Victoria (ASSN Vic) offers information and support to those living with Asperger syndrome. They provide monthly social and support groups for children through to adults with Asperger’s as well as groups for parents and carers, siblings and partners.
Beyond Blue
Beyond Blue provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health. Here you are provided with information and resources on anxiety, depression and suicide.

Eastern Health Child Youth and Mental Health Service is a specialist service for children and young people up to age 25 years who are displaying symptoms of psychiatric disorder or severe emotional and behavioural disturbance. The service is available to families living in the central and outer eastern region of Melbourne.
Your Lawyer Your Lawyer provides legal support around Victims of Crime Assistance (VOCAT), criminal law and intervention orders. Green Life Psychology practitioners are able to complete VOCAT applications so please feel free to further discuss with us.

Tara Brach
Tara Brach is a psychologist, author and teacher of meditation and emotional healing. Above is a link to her guided meditations which she has graciously posted for free. We often recommend that clients implement mindful meditation into their daily lives even if only starting with 5 minutes per day. There is a growing body of research showing mindful meditation can help improve anxiety, depression, emotional eating and much more.
Smiling Mind
Smiling Mind is a not-for-profit web and app-based program developed by a team of psychologists with expertise in youth and adolescent therapy. It provides a range of mindful meditations for children and young people. We often recommend mindfulness techniques to children of all ages and even suggest parents practicing alongside their child. This can help calm children down and ease their worries and anxieties.

Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus
This children’s book is written by Mo Willems and is appropriate for children age 3-6. In this book, the bus driver leaves temporarily and gives one request that the pigeon not drive the bus. The only problem is the pigeon can be quite persuasive! This book has lessons around being able to say no and making good choices.
Brene Brown is a storyteller, researcher and Licensed Clinical Social Worker known for her decades of work on shame and vulnerability. Daring Greatly is a best selling book about shame, courage and vulnerability. Brene also has Ted Talks, a Netflix Special, a podcast called “Unlocking Us” and multiple other books- all worth your time!
This book is written by Dr. Sue Johnson and offers stories, new ideas and exercises based on the new science of love and the wisdom of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). Whether you are a person hoping to improve your own relationship or a clinician hoping to understand the EFT model, you will likely find this read quite helpful.
This book is written by psychiatrist and psychanalyst, Norman Doidge, and is all about neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is the brain’s amazing ability to change and adapt. It includes inspirational stories about people whose lives have changed thanks to human resilience and some incredible scientists.
